About Me

Name: Benjamin Charles Marolf
Occupation: Expedition Leader

Hello, my name is Ben and I am a curious and motivated individual with a passion for new experiences. I'm inspired by new places, faces, and stories that engage. I am currently pursuing a career as a Naturalist and Expedition Leader, and my studies and work experiences have gifted me with amazing opportunities to develop. I am currently based in the adventure hub of Salt Lake City, Utah, where I ski and climb while in the area. Professionally, I spend half my year working for UnCruise Adventures as an Expedition Leader on the M/V Wilderness Discoverer in southeastern Alaska, where I spend April through September. I spent two years working as a graduate naturalist at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center in Lanesboro, MN, where I discovered a passion for working, learning, and creating outdoors. During these two years, I guided and taught over 12,000 individuals over 30 different subjects. I am continually working to polish my toolbox of interpretation skills, and am a Certified Interpretive Guide, and have graduate-level certification in Environmental Education.
When not on the job, I can be found playing music, rock climbing, and skiing the Wasatch.
